The Nature Center is situated on a rock overlooking Lake Murray near the south end of the lake. Visitors will learn about Lake Murray State Park. There are numerous displays and infographics explaining the surrounding locations can be seen. The nature center has a large balcony that overlooks the lake's beautiful waters and is ideal for taking photos. Just below the Nature Center is a little dock that stretches into a cove.
